Old 97's to Perform 'Too Far to Care' on North American Tour

After almost 20 years in the business, Texas alt-country outfit the Old 97's will be taking a well-deserved look back at one of their career highlights by touring in support of their 1997 album Too Far to Care.
This lengthy outing includes a host of U.S. dates, plus a single gig here in Canada: Vancouver's Venue on September 5.
During each show, Old 97's will perform Too Far to Care in full. They will then return for a second set of favourites from other albums. Frontman Rhett Miller will also begin each night with a solo acoustic performance, meaning that he'll be playing a daunting three sets each evening.
An announcement on the Old 97's website notes, "Rumour has it that fall might bring a vinyl release of the album [Too Far to Care] as well." Stay tuned for an official announcement and check out all the currently confirmed tour stops below.
