Oh Sees went full metal on their latest album Smote Reverser, but the new video for that record's "Abysmal Urn" takes a decidedly cuter and cuddlier approach.
The clip was shot by the band's own John Dwyer, and it captures a canine pal — aptly going by the name of Dog Buddy — cruising around with his head out of the window in the backseat of a car. By the end of the video, we even get to meet a slew of other furry friends.
Psychedelic visual effects are piled on top for some extra interest.
"Dog Buddy enjoys the simple things in life… travel , good times with friends and late night adventure," Dwyer tells Exclaim! "Every time we go for a drive and look at him hungrily smelling the world, I'm a little bit jealous. He's happy for no other reason than to do this simple thing. Viva dog buddy."
