After all the hype and media saturation that surrounded the release of Kanye West's enormous and admittedly great fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, we're just about ready to listen to something else for a bit. Before we do, however, the album deserves one more much longer listen via OG Ron C's "Chopped Not Slopped" version of the album.
As expected from the name, the Houston-based mixtape legend took Kanye's album and slowed it significantly. The result is a new, tougher take on the album. Once you forget that it's slowed down, Kanye and his guests just sound more pissed off and aggressive. If you've ever wondered how Nicki Minaj's verse on "Monster" would sound if it were done by a man, look no further as all the femininity is stripped from her voice.
