Having almost been two years since the release of their sophomore album Hard Boiled Soft Boiled, industrial-influenced Toronto trio Odonis Odonis have hinted at a forthcoming third record in a new teaser video.
The video features black and white animations accompanied by some ominous-sounding circuitry, building up to include a robotic rhythm section while the animations reveal the band name and the album title Post Plague.
UPDATE (03/30, 11:15 a.m.): The band have confirmed the album will arrive on June 17 and you can hear the new track "Needs" at the bottom of the page. That's the album cover above, and you can pre-order it here.
The video was posted to YouTube by Toronto label Telephone Explosion, who told viewers to stay tuned for some big news in a Facebook post. Hard Boiled Soft Boiled was released through Buzz Records.
By the looks of things, Post Plague won't be the only new record to come from Odonis Odonis either, as last fall the band promised two new records: Post Plague and another release called Creepshow.
