Though there's still no exact word on when Pro Era rapper Nyck Caution will deliver his long-in-the-works solo project, the kid has been serving up bars lately. Ahead of the weekend, he's offered up a new tune all about his craft, which he calls "Wordsmith."
The beat was cooked up by fellow Pro Kirk Knight and at first plays out via a jarring, Sunn O)))-grade blast of distorted bass. Eventually, the tune gets fit with a hard boom bap, which has Nyck Caution talking about getting calluses from putting the "work in."
Of penning tight lines, he brags: "I'm at a point where I swear I'm the nicest / I will sell you a verse, but you afraid of the prices."
