A couple of weeks back, scuzzy Vancouver noise mongersNü Sensae announced their Sundowning LP would arrive July 24 through Suicide Squeeze. Well, we have some bad news: the album's been pushed to August 7. On the bright side, the band have at least delivered a few more details for the full-length. For one, you can peep the grizzled, urban cowboy-adorned artwork up above.
The tracklisting for Sundowning has also been revealed, and as we suspected, both "Swim" and "Spit Gifting," which appeared as live clips on Exclaim! TV back in March, are included on the 14-track outing. You can download the grungy, distortion-dialing studio version of "Swim" here.
Produced by Josh Stevenson at his home studio in Vancouver, Sundowning is described as being an unpredictable release with "even bigger payoffs" than 2010's TV, Death, and the Devil. The addition of guitarist Brody McKnight has also apparently "added another dimension of heaviness to the band's already mind-melting sludge attack."
On top of the new album, Nü Sensae will be heading out on the road this summer. While most of the new dates take them down the U.S. West Coast, shows in Edmonton and Calgary have also been announced. You can see the full schedule below.
