Nü Sensae Announce West Coast Dates with Peace, Share New Track

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 25, 2012

Vancouver's Nü Sensae and Peace are already thick as thieves, with the buddy bands sharing a hometown, a record label and members of each unit also playing in the Eating Out offshoot. But the bands are set to get even closer this fall via an upcoming joint tour.

Just before Peace officially deliver their Suicide Squeeze debut The World Is Too Much With Us on October 16, both bands will play a record release party for the disc at Vancouver's Astoria on October 6. One week later, they'll make their way down the West Coast of the U.S., which sadly means there isn't that much Canadian love this time around. There are, however, some other Nü Sensae shows in Vancouver book-ending the trip, and you can check all the details down below.

In other news, Nü Sensae recently followed up their own recent Suicide Squeeze LP Sundowning with a split 7-inch hosting a new tune on their side and a number from Nashville's Useless Eaters on the flip.

Below, you can stream Nü Sensae's contribution, "Sleeping Blouse," a track that sonically smashes the poppy chorus from Nirvana's Nevermind classic "Polly" into the group's own venomous interpretation of '90s grunge. The record is available now via Volcom.
