The Northern Pikes Announce First New Album in 16 Years

Hear "King in His Castle" from the band's upcoming 'Forest of Love'

Sixteen years removed from releasing their It's a Good Life album, the Northern Pikes have lifted the curtain on a new follow-up full-length.

Titled Forest of Love, the Canadian outfit's ninth studio album will arrive June 7 through Universal Music Canada. Ten tracks in length, the album was recorded at Studio Bell in Calgary.

Forest of Love also marks a lineup change for the Northern Pikes, with original members Jay Semko, Don Schmid and Bryan Potvin welcoming Grapes of Wrath's Kevin Kane into the fold.

Alongside the announcement, the band have shared album opener "King in His Castle," which you can hear in the players below. Northern Pikes have also mapped out a run of Canadian tour dates in support of Forest of Love, and you can find those listed below.
