Islands main man Nick Diamonds recently soundtracked a documentary about teenagers called Only the Young, and now one of his contributions to the film has hit the web.
While many film scores consist of instrumental background music, "Aloe Hills" is every bit as fully developed as what you'd expect from an Islands album. It's a mid-tempo folk-rock waltz that blends Diamonds' bittersweet melodies with some subtle background atmosphere before culminating in an upbeat jam.
