Go Away

BY Rob FerrazPublished May 1, 2001

Old time New Jersey oi-boys return after a long hiatus with a new batch of bouncy, booze-up anthems. This has a melodic, even poppy sound that falls somewhere between Stiff Little Fingers and the Pogues, so you know it's pretty damn catchy. They possess a light-hearted sense of humour on tracks like "Where's Lew" and "Happy Happy Oi Oi," and exhibit "down with the people" sensibilities with songs like "Don't Tread On Me." Fans of more well known bands like the Dropkick Murphys and Swingin' Utters looking for more of the same ought to check this out.
