Canadian production crew the New Royales recently laced up with Eminem for his Southpaw soundtrack single "Kings Never Die," but the quartet have now come out swingin' with a song of their own. You can give the band's new "Ready to Break" single a stream online now.
As previously reported, the crew comprises DJ Khalil, Chin Injeti, Liz Rodrigues and Erik Alcock. Here, they've whipped up a series of spacious beats, a choir of vocoded melodies, percussive conga whomping, various whooshing sounds and a few tunefully drawn out lines about being pushed to the brink.
Though the track notes the New Royales could be suffocating in the day-to-day, the groove-heavy track seems like a healthy release for all that negative energy.
You can give the song a spin down below.
