Fredericton, NB's Future Forest arts festival is set to return for its fourth edition this summer, and festival organizers have unveiled the 2016 lineup.
Topping the bill this year are Aaron Jackson, CloZee, BUKU, J.Phlip, Mark Instinct, Wax Motif, Wuki and the Librarian. Additionally, Aeiou, Brightside, Brickhaus, Claire, Construct, Freddy J, Ghettosocks, Mr Nokturn, Of the Trees, Pineo & Loeb, and Snowday will be on hand for the celebrations, with the complete lineup including over 80 acts.
Future Forest will take place from July 22 to 25 at Wark's Point camping resort just outside of Fredericton. Boasting three stages built using the resources of the surrounding wilderness, the festival will also play host to live painters, acrobatic and pole dancers, hula hoopers, fire spinners, aerial performers and installation artists.
Furthermore, an artisan village will see local vendors sell handcrafted clothing, jewelry, hand blown glass and local organic food, while a workshop series will give those in attendance opportunities to learn about music production, art creation, performing arts, self-improvement and health.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now, with the first two tiers having already sold out. The current third tier of tickets cost $159, with tiers four and five going for $179 and $199, respectively.
