Following his burst onto the scene last year, chillwave hero Neon Indian (aka Alan Palomo) has moved to a larger label in order to suit his growing artistic needs. Palomo's future releases will now come courtesy of Fader.
The move, which was reported this morning (June 8) by Billboard, puts Palomo in the company of label-mates Matt & Kim, Editors and Saul Williams. Neon Indian's first release under the new label will be a digital reissue of his debut album, Psychic Chasms, which is to drop today in collaboration with Palomo's label, Static Tongues. The album was first released on Lefse Records in October 2009.
Neon Indian is currently touring the United States. You can see the tour dates at Palomo's MySpace here.
