The Neighbourhood

"icanteven" (ft. French Montana)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 21, 2014

California outfit the Neighbourhood are taking a hard stance on adultery in their new single "#icanteven," getting moralistic atop a hazy R&B swerve alongside guest rapper French Montana.

The track is enveloped in soupy synth sounds and viscous rhythms as vocalist Jesse Rutherford opines that he's just another guy to the woman he gave his heart to. "Did it make you feel bad when you cheated on your man last night? / Did I even cross your mind," he croons questioningly. Montana gives off a series of lines that don't necessarily fall in line with the theme, though it mentions slipping around on silk sheets.

You'll find the cut, which will also appear on the Neighbourhood's upcoming #000000 & #FFFFFF mixtape (a.k.a. Black and White), down below.
