MUTEK and Elektra Add Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Robert Lippok to Montreal's EM15

Montreal digital arts festival Elektra and beloved music gathering MUTEK have already announced plans to celebrate their 15th anniversaries with a combined event this spring. Now, the latest wave of artists appearing at EM15 has been confirmed.

Richie Hawtin will present his experiential ENTER. project, To Rococo Rot's Robert Lippok will debut his new audio-visual work daytimeastronomy, and Ricardo Villalobos will team up with Max Loderbauer to present their ECM project. Villalobos will additionally perform as a DJ.

Other newly added artists on the bill include Nonotak, Tom Trago, Marc Houle, TM404 (a.k.a. Andreas Tilliander), the Durian Brothers, and Todor Todoroff & Laura Colmenares Guerra.

These performers join previously announced acts like Nicolas Jaar, Shackleton and Audion (a.k.a. Matthew Dear). See the list of currently confirmed performers here.

EM15 runs from May 27 to June 1. A full six-day pass currently costs $180, while weekend passes are $95. Prices will go up on April 24 and will continue to rise incrementally leading up to the festival. Peruse your purchasing options here.
