Rebranded indie pop outfit Mr. Twin Sister will release a self-titled album under their new moniker on September 23 on Twin Group/Infinite Best, and now they've shared the track "In the House of Yes."
Cocking in at close to seven minutes, this begins in slinky, dreamy form, but a shimmying beat enters a couple minutes in and turns this into a disco-dazzled groove. It contains sexy sax honks, pitch-dropped backing vocals, lounge lizard piano tinkles, funkified guitar licks and electronic-flecked sonic textures, all of which make for a promising preview of the new LP.
