You’ve gotta hand it to Dr. Frank. He’s been fronting the MTX since 1985 and has seen the release of about a dozen records, several line-up changes, including the departure of Jon Von who went on to rock with the Rip Offs. These guys have gone more pop with each passing record and Alcatraz is no exception. They are trying to make things more interesting; however, by adding some organs and ’60s British pop elements to the mix. This may not win them over any more fans, but it will give their existing ones something different to chew on.
