Nearly four years removed from releasing Love What Survives, Mount Kimbie have released two songs from the album sessions that didn't make the cut.
Both "Blue Liquid" and "Black Stone" are available to download for free from Mount Kimbie's website until Friday (July 30) at 12 a.m. PT. After that, both songs will see release as a 12-inch vinyl record on October 8.
"Black Stone" also comes accompanied by a video from director Peter Eason Daniels, which you can find below. "The video is about waiting, moving and stopping. Collective moments of solitude experienced between one place and another," Daniels shared of the visuals in a statement.
Mount Kimbie announced the arrival of the two songs earlier this week on Twitter, where they also shared that "new album(s)" are "just around the corner."
In the time since Love What Survives, Mount Kimbie have collaborated with slowthai and James Blake, and released a DJ-Kicks mix in 2018.

In the meantime, there's two tracks we've been sitting on from a few years ago that didn't feel quite right for the 'Love What Survives' album.
