Montreal's Chromatic Announces 2016 Festival Lineup

Montreal's Chromatic festival is set to bring the worlds of visual art and music together next month, and organizers have revealed the details behind the event's seventh edition.

Taking place from May 19 to 22, Chromatic will display the talents of creative individuals from Montreal and Toronto at Hangar 16 in Montreal's Old Port. A press release promises a combination of interactive installations and nighttime musical performances.

The festival sports a number of different programs for attendees of all ages. Nighttime concert series Nuits Chromatic will feature performances from the likes of Blanka, Organ Mood, Shash'U, Grand Buda, Naadei Liones, KenLo, Noo-Bap, Chocolat, J.u.D. and B.Kojak, as well as DJ sets from Doldrums and Pierre Kwenders.

The inaugural Chromatic PRO, meanwhile, will bring together professionals, creators and well-known creative figures from Toronto, Lyon and Montreal to look at cementing new partnerships and collaborations at Montreal's Phi Centre May 19 to 21, while Chromatic Junior provides free, family-friendly programming to inspire creativity, discovery and fun on May 21 and 22.

Tickets for each event, minus Chromatic Junior, are available for purchase now. Individual tickets to each evening of Nuits Chromatic cost $17.25, while a pass for all three can be had for $40.20. Day passes for Chromatic Pro events can be purchased for $99.98, while the full two days and Hangar 16 events can be attended for $174.99. Student passes to Pro events can be had for $90.02 (both days) and $50.01 (daily).
