Misery Signals To Headline Weight of the World Tour

BY Keith CarmanPublished Mar 24, 2009

Your friendly neighbourhood music mag is stepping into the live ring once again. Now that Exclaim! has established its Aggressive Tendencies tour as one of the concert season's must-see events for extreme music fans, we have to get our fingers dirty on another level.

That's why we've teamed up with innovative independent label Smallman Records to present the Weight Of The World Tour 2009. Bringing together some of modern hardcore and post-hardcore's up-and-coming/recognized acts, the likes of Misery Signals, Haste The Day, Dead And Divine, Architects and Sights & Sounds will be a part of the trek, which winds its way around the Great White North over the course of a month.

For Misery Signals, the tour is in support of their most recent effort, Controller. As for newbies Sights & Sounds, their debut, Monolith, was produced by not-so Strapping Young Lad Devin Townsend and will hit store shelves on May 26.

Keep an eye on your local dates though. Not all bands are scheduled to perform at every stop of the Tour.
