Today (March 23) marks the release of The Great Pretenders, a new album from the Los Angeles act Mini Mansions (whose members include Michael Shuman of Queens of the Stone Age). To coincide with the release, they've shared a video for the track "Vertigo."
The song features guest vocals from Arctic Monkeys main man Alex Turner, who also appears in the video. Along with that, there are plenty of topless females, so maybe don't watch this one at your desk.
In a press release, Shuman recalls the extreme hangover he felt while working on the video:
The night before the shoot we played this strange private party for Saint Laurent with Bleached and Sky Ferreira, where we each played 15 minute sets. So there was plenty of time for debauchery afterward. Us and Alex managed to stumble onto set for the shoot at 9am with a half dozen naked ladies waiting to partake in the shoot. I'd say it was a pretty ideal setup for the making of this video.
Watch the clip for "Vertigo" below. The Great Pretenders is available now from Electromagnetic Recordings/Capitol Records.
