Mikal Cronin Announces New Album 'Seeker'

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Jul 31, 2019

After sharing new music and tour news earlier this year, Mikal Cronin has now revealed the details behind his fourth full-length album.

Titled Seeker, Cronin's latest arrives October 25 through Merge. Ten tracks in length, the album was recorded with engineer Jason Quever (Papercuts), while instrumental support comes courtesy of Ty Segall's Freedom Band.

Alongside the announcement, Cronin has shared new single "Show Me," which comes accompanied by a Yasi Salek-directed video.

"'Show Me' is a song about feeling small in an overwhelming world," Cronin said in a statement. "There's a not-quite-subtle hint of the Heartbreakers in the instrumentation and arrangement, having asked many friends to play or sing. It's one of my favorite songs from the album, I hope you like it too."

Cronin will kick off a North American tour this November, which you can find dates for here.
