Vancouver fuzz rock unit Mental Health are gearing up to unleash a new record titled Trying Hard Enough later this summer, and Exclaim! is giving you a preview of things to come with the brand new single "Stupid Mind."
The track is a woozy, wistful mix of chiming guitar lines and scrappy vocals atop crunchy rhythm guitar and throbbing percussion, which all blend together to create a three-minute block of reverb-drenched glory.
The band will recreate that upbeat buzz live on stage for an upcoming set at Vancouver's Khatsahlano Street Party on July 9, as well as a couple other upcoming shows. Before you head out to catch them live at the dates listed below, though, you can listen to "Stupid Mind."
Tour dates:
06/25 Abbotsford, BC - Abbotsford Field Fest
06/30 Vancouver, BC - LanaLou's
07/09 Vancouver, BC - Khatsahlano Street Party
07/16 Vancouver, BC - Pat's Pub
