Madeleine Peyroux and Martha Wainwright have announced a 2023 Canadian tour.

Next May and June, the singer-songwriters will play 10 dates from Quebec to the West Coast, with stops set for Hamilton, London, Toronto, Quebec City and more.

Peyroux's sets will feature both brand new material and selections from her celebrated 2004 album Careless Love, and shares of the trek, "I am always honoured to share a space with such a formidable person and artist, but Martha's is one of the greatest voices I've ever heard.

"Canada is where my parents fell in love, where much of my repertoire was written, my career took form. And I am often, undeservedly, called Canadian. Perhaps my most integrated self will at last be fulfilled. One can only hope! At least I am certain our tour of the beloved North will be one of the most fun ever!"

Wainwright — who delivered both the deluxe version of 2021 album Love Will Be Reborn and bestselling memoir Stories I Might Regret Telling You this year — adds, "It's so great to reconnect with an old friend and share the stage with this incredible artist."
