The arrival of Marnie Stern's awesomely titled The Chronicles of Marnia is still more than two months away, but the indie shredder has given us a new preview of the album in the form of "East Side Glory."
This track is a little calmer than some of her frantic past work, since it favours wistful waltz-time strumming over fretboard fireworks. Things do get pretty wonky towards the end, however, as the groove is interrupted with some curious plinks and plonks from Stern's guitar.
