Montreal duo Blue Hawaii are gearing up for the release of their Untogether LP, but have temporarily set their sights on their buddies Majical Cloudz's songbook via a remix of "Turns Turns Turns."
While the original worked an '80s pop groove, Blue Hawaii transform the track into a minimalist house cut full of vocal snippets, wavy synths and a steady four-on-the-floor thud. You still get to sample the swoon-worthy quality of Devon Welsh's baritone, but the redo brings the already sensual track to new unearthly heights.

Untogether, meanwhile, drops January 22 through Arbutus Records.
