Coinciding with the launch of French prog greats Magma's new Slag Tanz this week, the band have revealed they're set to explode onto the North American tour circuit this spring.
Details on the group's upcoming schedule were announced earlier today. While a handful of European dates had already been announced, a pond-crossing trek is now set to kick off Vancouver's Venue on April 2. The band head back overseas after a mid-April stop in New York, but will be back by May to play shows in Quebec City and Victoriaville.
You'll find all of the North American date details down below, while the international info can be found here.
As for Slag Tanz, the eight-song mini album was released yesterday (January 26) through the group's Seventh Records. Music and lyrics were written by founder/drummer Christian Vander, with the set having been tracked at UZ studios between 2013 and 2014.
Described in a press release as a "veritable symphony of jazz metal that has erupted from nowhere," you can stream the set down below.
