It might be Madonna's birthday, but she's the one doing the gift-giving. Today, the pop legend has announced a reissue campaign that will see several of her pioneering records re-released in deluxe editions, the first venture in a new publishing deal with Warner Music Group ahead of the artist's 40-year recording anniversary in 2022.

In a press release about the new partnership, Madonna said, "Since the very beginning, Warner Music Group has helped bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world with the utmost care and consideration. They have been amazing partners, and I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalogue from the last 40 years."

Additionally, indie label Italians Do It Better are celebrating Madge's 63rd with the release of a compilation of Madonna covers. The 20-song album was executive produced by Johnny Jewel and features covers by Joon, Jorja Chalmers and Glüme, among many others. Hear that below.

On top of all that, Madonna has a new documentary titled Madame X coming to Paramount+ in October. The film follows the singer on her 2019 tour for the album of the same name. She's also co-writing and co-directing her own biopic with filmmaker Diablo Cody.
