Singer-songwriter Madi Diaz has shared her new single "Hangover" and booked a North American tour including Toronto shows opening for Harry Styles.
Diaz will open for Styles on August 15 and 16 at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. A couple months later, her headlining North American tour will bring her to Canada for a Montreal show on October 30.
To coincide with the announcement, Diaz has shared a video for her new single "Hangover," which adds an undercurrent of stormy art rock fuzz to its sleepy, resigned mood and lyrics about breakup regrets and morning-after malaise. The accompanying video, directed by Joey Broadnax, brings this story of hazily waking up to life with the help of some psychedelic lighting.
The single is out through ANTI-. It follows last year's album A History of Feeling.
