Mad at the Sun were an English Dischord Records-influenced band who formed in the 80s and broke up in 1990, leaving a bunch of demos and the punk scene (which they claimed to have started in their small town) behind. The music is obviously outdated-sounding, but it has a naive, idealistic charm that takes one back to a time when bands like Dag Nasty and Soul Side made the heaviest, dopest new records coming out. If you're an aficionado of this era and sound then this could be of interest as a buried link in the chain of continuity of aware, emo, post-punk music.
