There's already been a whirlwind of hype the past few months surrounding M83's upcoming double set Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, but up until now the one thing missing from the puzzle, aside from the actual tunes, was the artwork. Well, the cover has now been uploaded, and it turns out the image is both adorable and kind of creepy. That's it above.
So there you have it, regressing from the teen-adorned cover of M83's last album, Saturdays = Youth, the latest set gets a couple of sleepy, sullen kids cuddling on the edge of the bed. Yep, one of them is wearing some sort of monster suit, while the other is sporting a kimono.
What does it mean, per se? We'll likely have to wait until the record's October 18 street date to figure it out. As previously reported, the album comes out on Mute.
UPDATE: The album's lead-off single "Midnight City" has a new music video, which you can check out below.
UPDATE 2: As One Thirty BPM points out, this is apparently only a fan video.
