Cinematic dream-pop master M83 (a.k.a. Anthony Gonzalez) set up his filmmaker brother Yann's sex comedy You and the Night with a full score last year, issuing a digital version of the soundtrack in November. If you were hoping for the soundtrack to pop up on vinyl, though, your prayers have been answered as a physical edition appears to be dropping March 11.
An Amazon listing [via Modern Vinyl] states that M83's score for the film is being pressed up by Mute, who also issued the digital copy. News of the physical platter, however, has not yet been confirmed on the label site.
The score mostly plays out instrumentally, though it does include vocal contributions from White Sea and Susanne Sundfør. It's further described as an intimate score "for lovers and ghosts" that "pays tribute to French soundtracks from the '70s."
