LUH

"Beneath the Concrete"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 29, 2016

As previously announced, former WU LYF frontman Ellery Roberts has teamed up with audio-visual artist Ebony Hoorn for a new project called LUH. After having unveiled the details behind their Spiritual Songs for Lovers to Sing LP earlier in the month, the duo have now delivered a sample of the set via a stream of its "Beneath the Concrete."

Produced by the Haxan Cloak, the track is a spiritually uplifting slice of modern electro pop built around a bed of bumped-up beats and pastel-tinted synth positivity. Roberts' somewhat scratchy croon hints that tough times can be overcome, once you realize "this world is not all that it seems."

You can give "Beneath the Concrete" more than just a surface listen by streaming it down below. The rest of the album can be absorbed May 6 via Mute.
