Since last year's self-titled EP, everything has been going Lucius's way, as the Brooklyn band have signed with Dine Alone Records in Canada and Mom + Pop in the U.S. for the release of their Wildewoman LP. This debut full-length will drop on October 15, and it's available to stream ahead of time on Exclaim.ca.
The collection is a stylistically diverse affair that kicks off with the bright folk-pop bounce of the title track. Elsewhere, "Go Home" and "Two of Us on the Run" are sparse and rustic, there's a jagged edge to cuts like "Turn It Around" and "Nothing Ordinary," and the single "Hey, Doreen" is a buoyant soul-pop number.
Stream the album below. The band will play Canadian shows at the Garrison in Toronto on November 1 at at Divan Orange in Montreal on November 2. You can see all their upcoming tour dates here.
You can also pre-order the album here.
