Lo-Fang

"When We're Fire" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 14, 2014

Despite the lit-up song title, the new video for Lo-Fang's "When We're Fire" plays out as a slippery, sensuous set of visuals.

In between intimate head shots of Lo-Fang (a.k.a. Matthew Hemerlein) crooning his cut atop a bed of soul-stirring synths and heart-thumping beats, the clip has the singer and a kimono-garbed lady friend sharing a bath together. The relationship appears to be much more complicated than that, though, as artier adds of the woman streaming tears in reverse as surrounded by a luscious garden scene could suggest.

You can parse out the narrative for yourself by giving the moody vid a viewing down below.

Lo-Fang's debut full-length Blue Film drops February 25 through 4AD, and he'll be hitting the road with Lorde on her upcoming North American tour. You'll find the show details down below too.
