Indie-folksters Beta Radio — formed by Wilmington, NC-based duo Ben Mabry and Brent Holloman — have returned with a new EP titled Way of Love. Courtesy of Nettwerk, you can now listen to the record in its entirety here at Exclaim!

After recording together for over a decade, the duo have tightened their sound exponentially. With Holloman and Mabry having spent quarantine together, they've honed their skills and turned an "odd experience" into something fruitful.

"The Way of Love EP is our mirror of 2020 so far," Mabry said in a release. "The title track weaves through the landscapes of heartache, but heartache that leads to awareness, and awareness that leads to self-love. It's really kind of wild because this is the first time we've written a record without a specific theme in mind, that is a thoroughfare through the songs of the record."

He added: "But it feels as if these songs belong together more than any we've ever recorded."

Way of Love sees percussion from the National drummer Bryan Devendorf, while Bon Iver collaborator CJ Camerieri brings horns to the effort.

The EP follows the release of their 2018 full-length album Ancient Transition. Prior to the Way of Love's release, the duo had shared three songs from the four-track effort. Today, you can finally hear the EP's title track — along with the rest of the record — in the player below.
