CNIB Atlantic is hosting a virtual fundraising event tonight featuring performances from a roster of talented artists across the Atlantic provinces. The East Coast Kitchen Party will take place in support of vital programs for Canadians who are blind or living with vision loss.

The lineup for this evening's festivities features Cape Breton-based family group the Barra MacNeils, Music PEI's Entertainer of the Year Cory Gallant, Newfoundland's Damian Follett, singer-songwriters Denique LeBlanc, Kari Lyn Blacquiere and Juno-nominated singer Lisa LeBlanc, as well as East Coast Music Awards-nominated musician Terry Kelly and traditional folk band Shanneyganock.

Hosted by CTV's Katie Kelly, the event will feature an online auction, testimonies from CNIB program participants, as well as a text-to-donate option. All proceeds will support "vital programs that are helping to change what it is to be blind."

"We are so excited to host CNIB's first East Coast Kitchen Party," Alison Byczok, director of marketing and communications for CNIB, said in a statement.

"This exciting event will feature music from talented artists from all across the east coast," she continued. "When you register for the event, you'll also get the opportunity to listen to inspiring stories from Canadians with sight loss – with the goal of raising essential funds for people who are blind or partially sighted in the four Atlantic provinces."

The East Coast Kitchen Party will go live at 6 p.m. ET this evening. Register for the event here.
