Lily Frost

"Background Radio" (video)

Lily Frost wrote Do What You Love as a way to convey life lessons to her then-unborn daughter, and now we can get a glimpse at the singer's domestic bliss with the clip for her song "Background Radio."

Directed by Rick Temporao and produced by Simeon Ross, the video accompanying this upbeat, bubbly pop number shows Lily playing with her daughter, along with husband (and occasional musical collaborator) José Miguel Contreras of By Divine Right, album producers Me&John and various close friends.

In a statement, Frost had this to say about the video: "I've always wanted to make a video that featured some of my favourite people. When we started brainstorming, someone brought up the idea of doing a kitchen party-type video and it struck me that that would be a perfect opportunity to do exactly that. Since the album was conceived as a letter of life lessons to my daughter, it was natural to include both of my children in the video. The finished video really captures the spirit behind the whole album — to leave people feeling inspired and with a smile on their faces."

It's cute stuff, so put a smile on your face by checking it out at the bottom of the page.
