In its album form on this year's Mess, Liars' song "Mask Maker" is a hair over four minutes long. Now, the group have released a video for an extended version of the track that's nearly six minutes song.
The clip is as hypnotically repetitive as the song itself. It plays off the theme of colourful string seen on the album cover, as we see multi-instrumentalist Aaron Hemphill dressed in a white suit while a wind machine blows around string in slow motion. Singer Angus Andrew appears in the same settling via a few quick cuts, and some arty editing adds a little extra interest to the proceedings.
