"Welcome to the Ramada Inn's Enchanted Tiki Lounge," a French-accented woman tells listeners, introducing us to the Lounge Brigade's renditions of your favourite songs by Sublime. Considering the reggae-infused sounds of Sublime, it's not a big stretch to venture into lounge territory with their songs. This works on most of the instrumentals but falls short on the tunes with vocal accompaniment, "Date Rape" and "Burritos." There are ten tracks in all, including "40oz to Freedom," "Santeria," "What I Got" and "All You Need." This is less of a novelty than your average tribute record, since the songs are mostly instrumentals, and it has a better consistency than a collection of different bands doing covers.
