Melodramatic singer Lana Del Rey is back with another music video. This time, its for a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Chelsea Hotel No 2."
Both the recording and the video are surprisingly restrained for Del Rey, though that's not to say they aren't steeped in drama and intensity. Pushing her low, crooning voice over a gentle acoustic guitar, Lana nails the track. The video, meanwhile, is all flickering lights and vintage footage of New York. Oh, and plenty of thoughtful cigarette drags.
