Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier recently announced the forthcoming release of Silencio, due out July 24 through Drag City. Now, fans can get a taste of what the solo album has in store by listening to the perky new single "Find Me the Pulse of the Universe."
This indie pop tune blends pop melodies with folksy strumming and a bossa nova-tinged rhythm section. A press release reveals that it is "a song about recognizing the world of possibilities (as one can with mathematics) and thinking in an open-ended, creative way to solve some of the confusion surrounding us."
