While Arts & Crafts specializes in Canadian music, the Toronto label has also signed a few international acts over the years, and the latest is Los Angeles based duo In the Valley Below.
The band features the Memphis-born Jeffrey Jacob and Angela Gail, who hails from the small town of Muskegon, MI. To date, their discography consists only of the three-song EP Hymnal, which came out earlier this year.
A press release from Arts & Crafts explains, "The duo's songs could well be the soundtrack to a David Lynch movie, equal parts atmospheric and gauzy, with sharp hooks and sing-along choruses."
Their new single is called "Peaches," and that moody pop-rock number (which features some exceeding Lana Del Rey-esque vocals) is streaming below.
The details of their first release for Arts & Crafts have yet to be confirmed, but look for the pair to release their debut full-length and hit the road before long.
