Krist Novoselic is hinting at reissuing Nirvana's 1991 sophomore album Nevermind in celebration of its 30th anniversary this year.

"We're going to have the 30-year Nevermind, but we're still putting it together," the bassist said in a new interview with Uncut [via NME]. Playing coy, he added: "It's kind of late! What's on it? You'll see, I don't want to spoil the surprise!"

Speaking alongside drummer Dave Grohl, Novoselic continued: "The anniversary is really for the fans and what the album means to them. If it helps people make some sense of the world, that's great. You have to figure it out for yourself, though."

For now, though, we'll have to wait to see how this potential 30th anniversary of Nevermind plays out.

As previously reported, the band's surviving members are still jamming — and potentially recording "really cool" new music together, according to Grohl.
