Kiss Me Deadly Travel Light

These are post-punk anthems with a twist - delayed guitars floating through more aggressive terrain than they're accustomed to, an occasional electronic framework to complement the traditional rhythm section and some co-ed, three-person vocal trade-offs at the microphone. These things, coupled with a sense of genuine sensitivity, push Kiss Me Deadly well beyond the "Fugazi by numbers" routine that tends to dictate the genre. Looking past a few trivial details (mainly the thin production that plagues every musician trying to make records and pay tuition), most will agree that the members of Kiss Me Deadly make music more than worthy of the ingenious name we use to address them.
