Kings of Leon already have one tour bus mishap to their name, since one of their vehicles caught fire a few years back. Now, they've had another bus-related accident that left drummer Nathan Followill injured and in hospital.
In an announcement on Facebook, the band broke the news that they had to cancel their show last night (August 10) in Saratoga Springs, NY, as a result of the accident. The band were reportedly travelling to their hotel on Saturday after a gig in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of the bus. The vehicle stopped short, and Followill broke his ribs in the process and was taken to hospital
Aside from the ribs, the timekeeper is said to be "doing well." Although the announcement uses the word "postponed" rather than "cancelled," no make-up date has been announced for the axed New York show and ticket refunds are available.
No further show postponements have been announced, suggesting that the band will likely resume their tour on at their next scheduled gig, which is on Wednesday (August 13) in Wantagh, NY.
As previously reported, Kings of Leon have a lot of summer dates coming up, and you can see the full schedule here.
