King Tuff (a.k.a. Kyle Thomas) recently returned with Black Moon Spell. Now, to match its timeless rock sound, album track "Headbanger" has been treated to a vintage-looking video.
The clip was directed by Jake Fogelnest for Funny or Die. In a press release, the comedian and writer explained that he had a clear-cut idea of what he wanted to do. "As soon as I heard the King Tuff album I said, 'Man I wish could watch a performance of them playing on Top of the Pops in 1975,'" he said. "Since it would be impossible for that footage to exist, the next best thing was to call Steve Jones from The Sex Pistols and make it ourselves."
Jones introduces the band as "King Tut" on a show called Bottom of the Pops before they rip through the anthemic song.
