Earlier this month, Brand New frontman Jesse Lacey put a new spin on an R.E.M. classic with a rendition of "Bad Day." The track is slated to arrive as a split 7-inch later this month, and now the flip-side can be heard, as well.
Backing Lacey's cover is a contribution from singer-songwriter Kevin Devine, who tackles R.E.M.'s "Imitation of Life." The single arrives as the sixth and final release in the Devine-helmed Devinyl series, and will be officially out on March 25 through Bad Timing Records.
