Kelela released Take Me Apart last year, and to mark the album's first anniversary, she's unveiled plans for a remix record. Titled TAKE ME A_PART, THE REMIXES, it's due out on October 5.
The album was executive produced by Kelela and longtime collaborator Asma Maroof, and it features reworks and features courtesy of Kaytranada, Rare Essence, serpentwithfeet and more. See the full tracklisting below.
The first remixed track to arrive is "LMK," which has been reimagined as "LMK_WHAT'S REALLY GOOD REMIX_ ." The new version features guest appearances by Princess Nokia, Junglepussy, Cupcakke and Ms. Boogie.
