Keith Flint's Funeral Turned into a Massive Rave by Prodigy Fans

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 29, 2019

The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint died earlier this month, and he was given a fitting send-off by fans earlier today.

Before the funeral service scheduled at St. Mary's in his hometown of Essex this morning, Flint's bandmates encouraged fans to "raise the roof" in Flint's honour.

The service was closed to just family and friends, though speakers were set up to broadcast the service to supporters gathered outside.

In addition to the closed-door ceremony, there was a procession outside the church, which fittingly turned into an outdoor daytime rave.

As previously reported, Flint died by suicide on March 4. He was 49.
